10-year-old Christopher Warner was recently overwhelmed with joy. The young boy, who happens to have Down Syndrome, is a major fan of Maroon 5 and, specifically, lead singer Adam Levine.
One of Christopher’s teachers uploaded a video of Christopher talking about his love for Maroon 5 to YouTube and the video went viral. A local radio station found out about it and was able to get their hands on tickets to Maroon 5’s show at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C., just for Christopher.
In addition to the show tickets, the young fan was also taken backstage to meet the band. He got so overwhelmingly excited that he hid behind his mom and crouched down on the floor.
In an act of spontaneous compassion, Adam Levine suggested that everyone lie down on the floor along with the boy.
