Grandma Lucy 88 and Grandma Jo (70-something) made the long drive from Iowa to Colorado for their granddaughters wedding… It was so wonderful to see the joy they got from being there and the joy and laughter we all experienced by there presence.
My car got absolutely covered with bird doodoo and I had just washed it … my friend laughed and told me that the big ones were worth $5K each and the smaller ones up t o$1K each so I was going to be rich soon!! hahaha we both burst our laughing- she completely shifted my irritation to laughter!! and then I headed back to the car wash.
I was visiting the schools in Olds, talking about Anonymous Good and my lips were so dry and hurting, I was not used to the dry cold air, but I forgot to bring anything for them. At the very next school Heather handed me a brand new lip balm that she bought for me. HOW SWEET AND THOUGHTFUL… I felt good and SO DID MY LIPS!!
I had the most wonderful experience in the airport waiting for my flight… I started talking to a three year old little girl who was so spectacularly darling… beyond cute… there is no word for how delightful and beautiful this child was. We were stuck in the airport for almost 5 hours as our fight got delayed and delayed and delayed. The woman at the desk was so kind and tried to help us with other options… that is such a stressful job with people always upset but we stayed kind and expressed gratitude to her and she did everything she could to help us. People can be so COOL!!!
